Join us as we explore the exciting ecology of Los Angeles!
Over the course of three days (11/25 - 11/27), students ages 5 - 10 will immerse in the outdoors to learn about the native California environment and consider the true meaning of being an Angeleno in 2024 while practicing gratitude, kindness and curiosity.
Through play, naturalism, sensory awareness development, walking, sitting and observing - we will discover what Los Angeles looked like 250 years ago, how drastically people have developed it over that timeframe, which animals did and didn't survive to share it with us, and what needs to be done to keep us healthy and connected to all that is living.
Each day we will embark on exciting adventures of discovery throughout the beautiful parks of Los Angeles, tracing the LA River up one of its primary arteries, the Arroyo Seco. With our well-trained and highly empathetic staff, your student is guaranteed to have a fun time while learning more about their city, it's natural history, and the role that they can play in shaping it's future.
